Competitive analysis is essential for understanding the strengths and weaknesses of competitors, identifying opportunities and threats, and improving business strategies.

Competitive analysis is the process of researching and reviewing the strategies, tactics, and products of competing businesses in the same industry or market. It involves analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of competitors, as well as their market share, target audience, and marketing strategies.

The goal of competitive analysis is to identify opportunities to be different than the competition and to develop strategies that can give a business a competitive advantage. It is a crucial aspect of business planning and helps businesses understand their competitors and the competitive landscape in order to make informed decisions about their own business.

To compare with competitors follow these steps

Identify your competitors: Determine who your main competitors are and make a long or short list of them. Research them online.

Gather information about your competitors: Research their products, services, pricing, marketing strategies, and customer reviews.

Compare your products and services: Look at how your offerings compare to those of your competitors. Consider factors such as quality, features, price, and customer service.

Analyze your competitors’ marketing strategies: Look at how your competitors are promoting their products and services and how they are reaching their target audience.

Evaluate your competitors’ customer reviews: Look at what customers are saying about your competitors and how they compare to your own customer reviews.

Determine your unique selling proposition: Identify what sets your business apart from your competitors and use this as a selling point in your marketing efforts.

Keep track of your competitors: Once per month, check in on your competitors to see what they are doing and how they are performing. This will help you stay competitive and stay ahead of the game.
